Nairobi, Nakuru and Masai Mara Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Nairobi – Aberdares

Meet and greet at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our driver guide. After a brief introduction depart for Aberdare National Park. Enjoy a leisurely transfer as you pass pineapple, coffee and tea plantations arriving in time for lunch at the base Hotel – Aberdare Country Club After lunch a transfer will be arranged to the famous tree lodge – The Ark Lodge.
Spend the afternoon at leisure as you view wildlife directly from the lodge where they come for water and salt lick.Dinner and overnight (L/D)

Day 2

Aberdares – Lake Nakuru (120 km – Approx 3 hrs)

Breakfast and departure to Lake Nakuru via Nyahururu for a very short stop.
Arrival for lunch and afternoon game drive where our intention was to see the famous pink flamingos and the rare Rothschild giraffes, a rare species of giraffe that has the largest population in Kenya and the second largest in the world, at Lake Nakuru.
Dinner and overnight (B/L/D)

Day 3

Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara (235 km – approx 6 hours)

Depart after breakfast further south in the Great Rift valley to Masai Mara. This is a vast area of grassy plains converging by the meandering Mara river. It is an African Gem and an area rich in culture, tradition, beauty and home to the big five.
Afternoon game drives at 1600 hrs.
Dinner and overnight (B/L/D)

Day 4

Maasai Mara

Morning tea or coffee, early morning game drive, watch the savannah waking up, return to the lodge for breakfast.
Spend the day at leisure or opt to visit a local cultural Maasai village to learn more about this unique tribe that co-exist freely with wildlife (Extra costs)
Afternoon game drives at 1600hrs in search of the big five.
You can also opt to have a full day game drives with picnic lunch boxes Dinner and overnight on FB

Day 5

Maasai Mara – Nairobi – JKIA (265 km – approx. 6 hrs)

After morning breakfast depart for Nairobi. Enjoy a leisure drive arriving in Nairobi in time for lunch at the famous carnivore Restaurant to experience game meat and barbecue meat.
After a sumptuous meal transfer to JKIA for their flight out.
